Description:
This Winchester Model 1886 was the second John M. Browning design he created for Winchester. It was considered robust and accurate, and capable of handling the long, powerful black powder "buffalo" cartridges popular on the Western Plains. This Model 1886 was manufactured in 1887 and is chambered in .40-65 Winchester. It features a 22-inch carbine length barrel, saddle ring and adjustable rear sight. *PLEASE NOTE* the considerable wear and signs of age, use and handling on the stock, receiver and barrel/magazines tube. .40-65 Winchester
