Offered for sale is a very nice Winchester Third Model 1873 in 44 WCF (44-40). The gun has been newly restored professionally and is in 100% condition.
The gun is perfect mechanically with all original parts and features. The bore is dark, but has strong riflings that are free of rust or pitting. The stright grained walnut stock and forend are in like new condiion with no chips, stratches or handling marks. The rifle has a 24" octagon barrel and a full length magazine. The crecent butt plate has a functioning slide that provides storage space for a cleaning rod (not included).
This rifle will make an excellent addition to any Winchester collection or fine Cowboy Shooting piece.
