East German Makarov 1964 ORIGINAL MILITARY - All matching and original with 2 serial numbered matching magazines and mint holster! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL & NEW (notice dried grease still remaining on the pistol). SN - DM 2430, Cal. 9x18 Makarov, dated 1964. Complete rig with its scarce original East German ordinance inspection inventory File Card!
Untouched factory original deep, rich blued finish, rating easily at 99.9% overall with absolutely NO Holster wear! Originally purchased in 1993 remaining all these years in the same Collection! Never Re-Arsenaled, never refinished, touched-up or messed with! Its condition and originality is simply un-equaled thru-out!
Just finding any original East German Makarov Pistol is quite rare today let alone one this Beautiful and ALL MATCHING in Original condition! The East German Makarovs were actually manufactured at the old WWII German Walther Zella Mehlas Factory and of the same exact early German quality and workmanship!
Book Reference: Not much information is written on the original East German Makarov Pistol but some books such as Small Arms of the World show this variation and has information about it.
Matching/Originality: As stated it is ALL MATCHING and Original thru out!
Finish & %: The pistol is absolutely Beautiful rating easily at 99.9%.
Proofs/Markings: All remain absolutely 100% Factory perfect thru out with the left frame just above the grip having the "DM 2430" Serial Number followed by the ‘’64’’ Date. The Serial Number is also on the left slide, plus etched again both (2) Magazines.
Bore: The Bore rates Absolutely Beautiful and MINT! Also, the East German Makarov Pistols have a chrome bore/chamber!
Action/Mechanically: These too are perfect!
Grips: These are the Original Factory Military ‘’black’’ grip (not the usual commercial replacement ones with the thumb rest) and also superb!
Holster: Also, as stated the Holster is of East German manufacture and exclusively for the East German Makarov Pistol. Its condition is absolutely MINT! Its Color is Black Leather, and the Holster is perfectly ink stamped/marked inside ‘’O/II over IPW"!
Magazines (2): As stated this most Historic Pistol comes complete with 2 (both) its near excellent original Matching etched Serial Numbered *East German Magazines!
Ordnance Inspection/Inventory File Card: This is ‘’icing on the cake’’ and quite a Historical addition to all the above as it is indeed the Matching Serial Numbered to the Pistol Original East German Military Armory Ordnance Inventory Card that the Armorer kept for the entire Service life of this Pistol! This is quite a Rarely found piece of actual History and its condition is 100% original and it too is MINT Condition!
