Description:
This is a Martini-Henry Common Long Bayonet sometimes referred to the pattern 1876, blade is in very good bright condition with only slight surface oxidation, dark spots and scattered pitting on the blade and 85% of the original bluing on the socket. Sharp English war department stamp, WD alone with other markings. This comes with a very good to excellent 2 rivet Mk II scabbard. All stitching is tight with a nice patina on the brass with WD Broad head markings. Fine original example of the pattern 1876.
