Description:
Very well done 44 special conversation from a S&W model 28-2 from the 70's. A 28-2 frame fitted with a 1950 44 special barrel with Patridge front sight, cylinder is from a 44 special and has been counterbored so 44 special will seat nicely into the cylinder. Mechanics are perfect, lockup is very tight, stocks are in beautiful condition, bluing is very nice with 2 scratches on the back side of the ejector rod housing that can be seen in the photos. Extremely nice revolver.
