I'm shooting from the hip on this one. This appears to be a Antique Belgian (Liege proof) early bolt action shotgun approximately 12 gauge. The breach is marked "The Needle gun". The smooth bore barrel is 36 inches long. The stock, but plate and trigger gaurd appear to be from a early Belgian (or Austrian). I know other needle guns were from the late 1860's to early 1870 time period. It appears slightly larger than 70 caliber. There are other numbers letters and proof marks near the breach.
