Description:
This M1 Carbine was manufactured by the Inland Division of General Motor in late 1944. The barrel is stamped Inland MFG. DIV. GENERAL MOTORS 11-44. It has a bayonet lug, Type 3 barrel band, a low wood stock with oval oiler cutout, late war bolt, rotary safety and adjustable rear sight. The sling is olive with horseshoe metal tabs. It is a good example of a late World War Two M1 Carbine. This rifle is import stamped on the bottom of the barrel PW Arms Redmond WV. Manufactured 1943. .30 Carbine
