Description:
This is a Rare US Model 1811 flintlock pistol made by Simeon North, Berlin, Connecticut. It is 69 caliber. The barrel is marked US over Eagle head, over V. The lock is marked S. North, Berlin, Con. This has a Spread Eagle motif over U. STATES with an 8 5/8” round smooth bore barrel. It also has a hickory swelled tip ramrod. The Cartouche is CW for Charles Williams, 1807-1814. Under the Cartouche is scratch engraved DM. Only 606 were made in this configuration. All of the markings are very good and the mechanical function is very good.
