Description:
1918 Dated DWM P.08 GERMAN LUGER Pistol 9x19mm World Wars C&R

IMPERIAL GERMAN PROOFS & HOLSTER

Here we present a DWM P.08 German Luger Pistol, made circa 1918 by DWM (Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken) in Berlin, Germany. This was made late during the Great War and it was armory refurbished with a new barrel in the interim between the wars. It still bears the Imperial German proofs and the barrel is marked “PTV” with droop winged eagle WaffenAmts. This pistol would have been in use through the Second World War. There is no import marking, so it was almost certainly a GI bringback. The holster likewise is original to World War I and has seen some obvious modifications.

The overall condition is very good. The action is excellent. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The grips are solid. Numbers match with the exception of the barrel, which is not serial numbered.

This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.

Barrel is 4 inches.

Caliber: 9x19mm Luger (Parabellum)

Overall condition as seen in photos.
