MILITARY Service Revolver; Six-Day War
Here we present a C&R Israeli Proofed Webley Mark IV Revolver in .38, made in Birmingham, England. These were used by IDF and police and were made circa 1967, the same year as the 6-Day War in which Israel defeated a coalition of Egypt, Jordan, and Syria.
The overall condition is fine. Original finish. Excellent action. Bright bore. Sharp markings. Both grips are in good shape and remain seated firmly. “CAI” marked on the underside of the barrel. Visible numbers match. This example is littered with British proof marks, and the right side contains Israeli proofs.
