MUSEUM QUALITY....SCARCE EARLY WAR "1862" dated lock and barrel. Includes a socket bayonet. Previous owner bought this Colt at the Colt Collectors Association Show, Reston, Virginia, on October 7, 2000, from Alex Schamrott of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Provenance: The Alex Schamrott Collection.
CONDITION:
Fine+ condition with silver-gray patina, a few spots of faint pitting, and mild marks on the stock. Mechanically excellent. Nice bore with light frosting in areas.The bayonet is good with mild pitting.
