Merkel 147E 20 Gauge SxS Shotgun (as new)
I am the original owner of this shotgun and it's been shot very little - maybe three boxes of shells through it (i.e., some backyard clays and a day or two in the field dog training - never hunted).
Gun remains in wonderful condition and there are no marks or dings to be found. All metal is flawless. That said, this shotgun came to me from Merkel with a crack in the butt-plate. I've never bothered having it replaced, opting to do so with a leather pad should the crack worsen or as time would allow. I've owned the shotgun for approximately 8-10 yrs. - I haven't fitted it w/a leather pad and the crack in the butt plate looks like the day it arrived to me from the factory. It has not changed at all and shows no signs that it will.
Shotgun comes with a white front bead and will arrive safely to your FFL in its original Merkel shipping box.
