A consecutive match pair, a extremely rare easy opening full sidelock ejector, according to Boss records these guns were made in 1928, the guns that were made between the wars are considered the height of workmanship and collectability. 12ga, 30" BEST quality original Chopper Lump barrels, ribs engraved “Boss & CO, Dover ST, Piccadilly, London. W.” the letter remains perfect as the day it was made, Gold inlayed 1 & 2 , the remain as built with 2 ½" chambered, choked IC/1/4 , Top lever engraved in gold inlay 1 & 2, automatic safety with gold inlay “safe”, rolled edge trigger guard , double trigger, automatic ejector.. the gun remains as new! They retain nearly all of their case color, show no signs of being shot, have perfect screws, perfect Sumner engraving, French walnut stocks, sharp perfect checkering, nearly 100% wood finish on their original French walnut stocks, these are the height of English gun making made in 1928, the best collector quality guns imaginable by the best maker.. .and easy opening! These are their highest-grade guns! In a condition that is seldom seen. made for Captain A. S.
