F. illi Piotti of Italy is amongst the top gunmakers in the world, a statement not contested by knowledgeable gun enthusiasts. The Piotti BSEE that we have here, sn9935 built by special order in 2005, is the company's BEST BOXLOCK gun. The standard features include a receiver that is machined from a solid billet of Boehler steel in Piotti's own plant, with an Anson and Deely design with highly polished and hand fit internal parts, finely struck chopper lump barrels with fixed chokes, and a perfectly hand fitted stock finely checkered. This gun was engraved by renowned engraver A. Castelli, signed by him at the trigger guard. Weighing just 5lbs. 8oz. and balanced perfectly on the hinge pin, even with the long LOP (15 7/16”) and 30” barrels, this gun can be carried all day long with little fatigue and still be lightning fast at the end of the day. With long, slender 30" barrels and highly figured English style stock, it is a racy, sexy bird gun that has seen little use. You can buy this gun today at a fraction of the cost for the same gun new.
