I purchased this beautiful Mk V last year new. Sheridan, Wyoming production. Hand picked it for the magnifient wood stock. My pictures suck as there is so much shine the reflections kill the photos. This is a gun that will look even better in person than pictures. I'm sure you have experienced the opposite at some time. Three day inspection period to prove it. It has been a safe queen since and presents 100% with zero "handling" marks. etc. I have four .270's so I am clearing some out.
Chambered in the first caliber Roy released for public sale the .270 Weatherby Magnum. Barrel is 26". I have all of my rifles scoped and this one received a new Leopold VX-3HD- 3.5 x 10 x 40, I will include the original scope box and documents. Mounted and boresighted at our local Carters Country gunsmith using Leopold mounted and rings. $650 value.
