Description:
US marked Stevens model 520-30.  This gun is in above average condition, works well and has all the ordnance markings and a US property stamp.  Stock cartouche RA-P: RA indicates Raritan Arsenal in Middlesex County, New Jersey and P indicates Henry Peterson who was the chief inspector between November 7, 1942 and December 31, 1946.
The stock has an added sling attachment that is probably not military.  It also has a slight ring in the barrel and can be seen in the pictures.  The stock has a non-structural crack on the left side.  See photos.  Good entry level martial arm.
