This is the Colt 2nd Generation black powder 1860 Army revolver. In excellent condition the single action revolver appears unfired with only very minimal storage and handling wear. The blue barrel and rebated cylinder, which features the roll engraved naval scene, are excellent with only a very faint drag line and some tiny handling marks with tiny freckling on the barrel. The color case hardened frame, plunger and hammer retain virtually all of the original vibrant colors and the brass trigger-guard has a very pleasing aged patina. The hardwood grips rate about excellent with some very light use marks and contusions. An excellent example of the second generation Colt 1860 Army revolver. Antique SOLD |
