Offered for your consideration is an exceptional Model 39. This rifle displays in very high condition on all wood and metal surfaces. The bore is superb and the rifle functions exactly as it should. The wood to metal fit is just as it would have been the day it left the Marlin factory. This rifle has an "S" prefix and the tang is marked with the inspector star indicating superior craftsmanship. The front sight has the original ivory bead in place and the rear tang supports a very high condition marbles tang sight with a rarely seen 1 1/8th aperture.
