Civil War Era Model 1860 cavalry saber assembled by Horstmann in Philadelphia. 35.75"" slightly curved blade with a 25"" fuller. Blade is a light polished grey patina with discoloration visible, blades edge has nicks present. Ricasso has faint ""Horstmann"" marking. Wired leather wrapped grip is good with most leather missing. Brass handguard is a nice dull gold patina. Scabbard has a dark brown finish with surface oxidation present. Consignment
