U.S. Model 1833 Short Sword by Ames, blade is 18.75"" with two side by side fullers measuring 3.5"". Single fuller measures 10.25"", blade has been cleaned some time ago and is a dull grey patina. Ricasso is marked ""U.S./JCS/1853"" opposite side has ""AMES MFG CO./CHICOPEE/MASS."" Stamped Brass heal and cross guard are good with an antique patina. Pommel has Eagle with shield and arrows. Overall good condition. Consignment
