Available – A once in a lifetime opportunity, an actual “Miami Vice” pistol. During the production of the hit TV series Miami Vice there were two consecutive serial numbered Bren Ten pistols manufactured for production in anticipation of several live fire events for the show. These pistols were full size 5 inch pistols, with markings saying 10mm but were actually .45 ACP. The two pistols were 83SM01577 and 83SM0xxx8. This is 83SM0xxx7. These were to supplement the two blank firing pistols that were used in the show. This is a dream opportunity for someone to own an incredible piece of TV history. Pistol comes presented in an incredibly beautiful display case (used for the Jeff Cooper Specials that were also made) Comes with factory manual as well as a letter of authenticity from Michael W. Dixon. For the very discriminating collector indeed. Before switching to the Smith & Wesson in season 3, there were just four Bren’s for the show, two dedicated to firing blanks and two live.
