Description:
For your consideration, a Winchester model 94 chambered in .25-35 Winchester. Sighting consists of a craft-made white blade front, folding V-notch rear, and a Marbles tang peep. While the trigger configuration would initially appear to be of the set type, it functions in a manner more comparable to modern 2-stage triggers. Instead of the rear trigger being optionally engagable to lighten the pull of the front, the front functions as the first stage of the pull and serves to contact the rear, lighter trigger which trips the hammer. The pull weight of the rear trigger appears to be adjustable via a small screw to its rear. This piece dates to 1903. .25-35 WCF
