Description:
This is a (4th generation) Nickel Plate Police Positive that chambers the 38 Special cartdrige. This is a 6 shot revolver with a 4" barrel and a shrouded ejector rod, built from 1977-1979 only. This is a very high condition example, with the oversize factory checkered walnut grips, that are in great shape as well, showing only a couple nicks in the varnish. This gun shows light use with an excellent bore, with a very faint turn line on the cylinder. This 4th version is refered to as the poor man's VIPER, as it is based on the same D frame, but built with a steel frame, as opposed to aluminum.
