Description:
Very early pivot lever Syracuse 10ga damascus gun, original, tight, well preserved and shootable! Receiver retains hints of color w. sharp engraving. Two screws have some minor slot damage, gun gone through recently. 32 1/4" heavy chopper lump bbls with bright bores showing some minor pitting internally, 3" chambers, R 785/751, L 784/754, ie. impr. mod both sides, original ivory mid bead, nick on rib and rt bbl, some localized external pitting on right toward muzzle. Well-repaired wrist crack, checkering nicely recut to original patttern, forend ditto with old sliver repair on lhs. Decent figure in buttstock, LOP 13 3/4" though original hard plate, 1 3/4" and 3" drops, neutral cast. 10 lbs
