Offered for sale is a matched pair of Colt Alabama Sequiscentenial Frontier Scouts. The serial numbers are sequential.This is a museum quality pair of iconic revolvers recognizing the 150th anniversary of the State of Alabama in 1969.It is a special edition. The guns have 4.75" barrels and are gold-plated with a nickel plated cylinders and ejector housings. The guns are single action revolvers with 6 round side loaded cylinders and faux ivory Colt grips and medallion. The guns are unfired and have been in storage since 1969. They are presented in a custom made wood and glass case as would be in a museum. The guns could use a cleaning from being in storage but clearly they are in excellent condition. This is an enviable acquisition for any Colt collector.
