1950 - Beretta - Model 408 bis - 12ga, 2-3/4", 28-3/8" IM / F (.034 / .045) Extractors, Rib Extension Third Bite, Double Triggers - Front Articulated, LOP 14-3/8", Drop 1-1/2" to 2-3/8", Slight Cast Off, Weight - 6 lbs. 12 oz.
This gun exhibits a push button forearm release and a third bite locking lug that appears to be a precursor to the locking lugs found on Beretta O/U begining with the S55 Series and continuing today. These gun are seldom encountered - especially in the U.S.
