Description:
Made on a 00 frame in May of 1937 with 26” Vulcan Steel brls, 2-3/4” chambers, that have matted concave top rib, twin white beads, and usual rib legend. Brl flats stamped “SKEET IN/SKEET OUT” and have unstruck brl weight of 2lbs. 12oz. The beavertail forend is checkered in point pattern with zig zag border engraved Deeley latch release and iron. Casehardened boxlock receiver with zig zag border engraving and engraved “PARKER” on bottom of frame. Watertable with lightening cuts. The blued long tang trigger guard with zig zag border pattern and SN at tang. Gun made with Parker SST, auto ejectors, non-auto safety. The nicely restored straight grip walnut buttstock has checkered cheeks, is checkered in 2 point pattern through the wrist, has unengraved nickel shield on toeline and terminates with a proper “PARKER” dog’s head buttplate. Gun is accompanied by a PGCA research letter identifying it as found today.
This gun is exceptionally fine as professionally restored retaining nearly all of its wood and metal surfaces. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. A beautiful and are sub-gauge Parker with is highly desirable in today’s market.
