Description:
7-1/2 inch barrel with "Colt Single Action Frontier pistol with .38 W.C.F. on the left side of the barrel. Colt factory triangle proof and "6" on the left side of the trigger guard. Matching serial numbers found in two places on the frame with last three digits (440) under the left grip. Matching production numbers under the grips on the frame and backstrap. Gun retains a beautiful original finish patina worthy of over 100 years of the aging process (see photos). The serial number dates this piece to 1907. The original hard rubber checkered grips are in excellent condition with moderate wear. Mechanics are outstanding. The bore is darkened but plenty of rifling remains which would make this a wonderful shooter. This is the epitome of what a Colt cowboy gun should look like. Great addition to the mancave and an excellent piece to enjoy shooting. To complete the transaction, we will need a copy of your FFL or C&R of choice for shipping purposes.
