RARE CIVIL WAR REMINGTON RIDER DOUBLE ACTION FLUTED CYLINDER PERCUSSION .36 CAL. NEW MODEL BELT REVOLVER CA. 1863. Six-shot with 6 ½” octagon barrel. Earliest production with only few hundred manufactured in 1863 and with low survival rate. All original and complete in as found semi-relic condition with crusty dark old original patina. Working order on both single and double action. From a 1940’s-60’s era Virginia collection of relics arms from around the area of the Battle of Petersburg.
