Springfield Model U.S. Rifle M1D Garand is a right-hand semi-auto U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Springfield. It has a 24-inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth walnut pistol grip. The forearm is smooth two-piece hardwood. SA Barrel dated 1 52. The rifle was manufactured Sep 42. MW:1, TE:2. M1D Garand sniper rifles were produced by converting standard M1 Garand rifles into a M1D configuration by installing a special M1D Sniper barrel as manufactured at Springfield Armory. Includes authentic M2 flash hider by Hart Mfg. Co, correct M84 scope (not reproduction) and vintage MRT 2-52 dated leather cheekpiece. .30-06 Springfield
