Description:
A Springfield 1884 trapdoor with a refinished stock, possibly manufactured sometime between 1887 and 1888. The bore still has some rifling, along with the original finish giving the barrel and receiver a nice patina, the breech block is not original to this rifle, the firing pin also moves with no sign of being gummy. Still a handsome rifle for any trapdoor collector or those looking to start their collection. None
