This Hi Power date of manufacture was messaged to me by a user that knows his material and is willing to share that knowledge. Accordingly, there are several features noticed in the photos. Those features include the following, and we quote: "I am certain of this. . . . The so called thumbprint depression slide was eliminated in 1959. This (pistol) does not have this feature indicating post 1959 production. This (pistol) does have the old style internal extractor which was changed in 1962 to a visible extractor. . . . The magazine appears correct as the aluminum follower was changed to plastic in 1962. I would be comfortable stating this pistol was made between 1959 & 1962. . . . . " The pistol is import marked. It is used and shows wear on the high edges from holster carry and the metal had miniature dingd and scratches, but the bore is bright and the rifling is sharp, The dates speak for themselves, the condition, being at the very least, good. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance. As always with used firearms, we highly recommend that a qualified gunsmith conduct safety and function inspections prior to firing. Thanks for looking.
