Description:
This single shot right hand bolt action target rifle is a Savage Model 12 F Class chambered in 6.5-284 Norma. The stock is a gorgeous grey laminated wood, and is shaped perfectly for prone or bench shooting. The forearm is wide, flat, and well-ventilated. The stock has nice subtle palm swells, and fits in the hand like a glove. This rifle utilizes Savage's legendary AccuTrigger system. This inclusion features a dual-stage trigger design in which the first (vented) trigger acts to disengage a safety mechanism. Once this occurs, the second trigger can be depressed in order to activate the firing pin. It is user-adjustable for weight of pull, approx 6 oz to 2.5 lbs. It has an oversize BT bolt handle, and a stainless extra-heavy free-floated, button-rifled barrel. The stainless steel finish on the barrel is in excellent condition; likewise the bluing on receiver and bolt handle is in excellent condition, with a 5 mm rub mark on end of bolt handle. The laminated wood stock is in excellent condition, with no scratches, marks, chips or cracks observable. The bore is bright and shiny with crisp rifling intact. This rifle comes with an Athlon Ares BTR 4.5-27X50 riflescope. 6.5-284 Norma
