Description:
This is a Kolar Arms "Max Skeet" 2 barrel set that includes a 12ga barrel and a "carrier" barrel fitted with Kolar AAA Inserts. This is a factory delivered set with all serial numbers matching (receiver and both barrels). The receiver is a "standard" grade and comes with the Stage II coil spring trigger that is adjustable for finger length.
The barrels are 30" in length with an adustable ramp tapered rib . Rib adjustment is made via the small wheel near the muzzle allowing POI change from 50-50 to 70-30. The 12ga barrel has .735 bores and comes with 5 extended Kolar chokes that include: SKT x 2, 10, 20 and 30. The carrier barrels are fitted with Kolar AAA inserts in 20, 28 and 410. These tubes have 4 Kolar chokes for each gauge that include: SKT x2, SKT2 and MOD. The carrier barrels with 20ga inserts match the weight of the 12ga bbls (3# 15 oz).
The stock is beautifully fugured with an adjustable comb and a beavertail forend. Though the gun hasn't been shot a lot, the wood does show signs of being on the skeet field. It has some dents and nicks from clay chips and gun racks. There is a wood chip on the tip of forend (inside edge along barrel channel) that I've captured in a photo. When the gun is assembled its not noticable from the side but its there so wanted to make it known.
This gun comes in a Kolar logo'd Deluxe Negrini case that holds both barrels, AAA tube set, chokes and the necessary tools to change inserts.
