Description:
Smith & Wesson alloy framed with steel barrel & slide with 4" barrel and decocking safety. Earlier production with Lolipop rear adjustable sight and narrow extractor. 2 piece checkered walnut factory grips with factory medallions. Full bright nickel finish with blue finished trigger , rear sight , hammer and magazine. Mfg, 1973/74. The model 39 was Smith & Wesson's first commercially succesful large frame automatic adopted by the US Navy as well as a number of large police departments. Condition, Excellent overall and would be dificult to improve upon with brilliant bright nickel finish, bright bore and excellent factory grips. Mechanically excellent. C&R
