Payment Types Accepted: Postal or Bank money order Description: Circa 1850's percussion double barrel shotgun by Perkins (of London I believe) approximately 12 gauge. The Locks are marked Perkins. The right side hammer works on both half and full cock, the left hammer waorks on full cock. The metal has turned brown with some scattered pitting. The but plate and other parts are brass. The length is 54 inches with a 37.5 inch barrel. It is kind of a fancier specimen with some engraving and brass inlays including what I think is a brass cap box on the bottom of the but stock. The ramrod is nice and might be original.? There is also a name on the top barrel strap but I'm not sure what it say. I would rate the condition as fair.
