**54 COLLECTORS**100% ORIGINAL.(Rare in itself) 1ST YEAR. (1925). 54 Sporter in lesser seen 270WCF. NICE(not perfect) CONDITION! 24" barrel with excellent bore. Barrel stamped '25 on bottom and bolt serial # matches receiver. Lack of action wear indicate this 99 year old gun was shot little. Receiver blue is 98%. Barrel blue is 90%ish with wear at muzzle, a few abrasions along side, and a few spots of light pitting. Trigger guard and floorplate have about 80% blue left with most wear at front end of floorplate. Rear receiver bridge is NOT tapped and I believe the Lyman 46 Receiver sight was factory installed. Has correct 2-leaf folding rear sight. and correct pinned gold bead front. Not sure this rifle has ever been apart since the receiver sight installed many years ago, until I took apart and cleaned. Guard screws showed no screwdriver usage. The stock, with original finish, I would rate 85-90%, with some scratches, abrasions, dents and rub spots on the surface finish. No cracks anywhere on the stock. Correct sling swivel eyes. Correct metal plate with serrations.
