W. Richards 2 1/2" game gun made in 1950. Proofed in London this gun has all the "best gun" features. Holland style acanthus scroll engraving. Well figured wood. Bar action sidelock with Purdey style third fastener. Barrels are 29" (typical Boss length) with .734 bores and Mod (22/1000) and Full (46/1000) chokes. Rolled edge trigger guard. Southgate ejectors. Auto safety. Extremely light use retaining virtually all the original case color and barrel blue. Weight of the gun is 6 LBS 9 1/4 OZ. LOP is 14 5/8". Drop at comb - 1 1/2". Drop at heel - 2 3/16". London best case with cleaning rods, brushes and jag. Straps for case included. No key. I have an extensive amount of 2 1/2" cartridges for sale with the purchase of this gun. Additionally, Wing Hunter Imports has 2 1/2" cartrdiges for sale at competitive prices. This London made gun in the early 1950's still had the "between the wars" high quality. Shipping is $100.
