Description:
Rare 1870 Springfield Navy 50 caliber center fire rollingblock in very good cond. Gun has not been sanded or refinished. Stock is solid and sound with nicks and dings and deep age color. All metal parts are smooth with age stain and very sharp maker markings including anchor motif behind sight. Riffled bore is verygood with a lot of sheen. Action works perfect with strong main spring and also has an original sling. Original cleaning rod has about 2 inches missing at tip. Correct bayonet stud on end of barrel. Rifle displays well and would make a good shooter.
