Rarely incounterd in 270 making it not only good as a woods deer rifle but fine for animals up to Moose and Elk
Flat shooting and relliable. 270 is and old school cal and lacks the popularity of some newer cals. however it has been proven for almost a century to be an exceptional cal on game. This gun is in good to very good but not quite excellent conditon. It appears it may have been carried by a man who wore a ring such that there are minor imperfections in the blue mostly on the right side of the receiver and some dulling of he stock finish on the butt stock..it is otherewise excellent ..both wood and metal
