What a terrific little woods Carbine..Chambered in classic 30 30 that has taken more deer over the last 130 yrs or so than any other cal (probably killed everything from game birds to tigers and everythging in between. Trappers are among the handiest of all woods deer rifles. This little gem is equipped with a quality Burris 2 3/4 Scout type (long eye relief) scope. To the best of our knowledge these US Made Burris scopes have like Leupold a lifetime warranty.
Except for some areas of crud on the right side of the receiver the rifle is otherwise very nearly 100%...Probably moisture, stored in a wet case or put away wet...affecting this (rite side of receiver)...Could be fixed by reblue or even cold blue done at home inexpensivly or cerakoted ....or left alone.
