Description:
A very fine Mauser action rifle built by Hoffman Arms Co. with fantastic graceful Mannlicher stock. The forend area fo the stock is beautifully bevel carved as seen in the photos and the muzzle end with similar carving/Schnabel tip. Gun built with ramp front blade sight. The gun has its original Griffin and Howe quick detach mount and scope. Receiver is beautifull engraved in fine scroll pattern, most likely the work of famed engraver Rudolph Kornbrath. The butt is beautifully figured and terminates with its original engraved buttplate with ammo trap.
The gun remains in super all original condition with more than 95% of its original finish on wood and metal surfaces. Bore is brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. Scope optics are clean. Stocks with minor impressions.
