Description:
S&W Model 15-3 Combat Masterpiece fitted with a 4 inch pinned barrel, checkered walnut service grips with S&W medallions, is blue finished, and chambered in .38 Special. This 1968 vintage Model 15 is in good condition, retaining 50% orignal blue, with most wear due to holster wear and poor storage. The left grip is a replacement, but the right grip is serial numbered to the gun. They both fit well and are in excellent condition. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The gun apparently was shot little, since the action functions perfectly, with a tight lock-up on all 6 cylinders. The rear sight looks like it was damaged from a sharp blow, but observing at how it fits into the holster, it has been determined it was modified to fit into the holster without doing more damge to the holster. Sorry, no box or paper-work. The black leather Bucheimer Nassau right hand holster is in well used condition, with the only damage from the rear sight, before it was modified. CURIO & RELIC
