Brno Model 1 Action with custom bottom metal.
No better action to build a nice, smaller size sporting rifle. I have built many custom rifles using the 52 Winchester action. Built countless barreled actions on 52 Winchester actions and they turn out great. But, these little Brno's ( somewhat copies of the 52s) are just so much lighter ( but very stiff) and less work than modifying a 52. The Brno has a shroud two position safety. Dual rear locking lugs that made the 52 famous. Threaded reciever, none of that slide in and bolt on ...."stuff".
This action has a custom piece of bottom metal by the legendary Duane Wiebe. Add a custom bolt handle ,some polishing and barrel and you have full custom ready to stock.
