Description:
Serial #5M18872, 12 Gauge (2 ¾ inch chamber), 29.5 inch plain barrel with a bright, excellent bore choked full. This is the Browning Model Auto-5 shotgun manufactured in Belgium by FN in 1965. In near excellent overall condition the barrel and frame retain about 95-97% original bright blue finish with scattered mild scratches and other light use marks. The checkered round knob stock and forearm are both solid with sharp checkering and a beautiful, nicely grained blonde wood with scattered light scratches and contusions and an overall mild crazing in the varnish layer. The original "Browning Automatic FN" hard rubber butt plate is solid with some light use showing. Mechanically it functions properly with a tight lock up and crisp trigger pull. A very nice Belgian built standard weight A-5 shotgun that would be a pleasure to take out hunting. FFL or C&R
