Description:
Offered for sale is a Remington 760 gamemaster chambered in 223 remington. This was the rarest caliber produced in a 760 with 2273 being made from 1964-1969. Condition is very good with some minor wear. I believe this may be a factory error gun as there is no checkering on the stock but has the correct running deer grip cap. The finish on the stock matches perfectly and looks to be the correct orangish remington DuPont finish that was common on these guns in the mid 60s. It is topped with a really cool weaver 2.5 power scope with a German post reticle and weaver tip off mounts. Date code is DL for September of 1964 making this a first year 223. This will make a great addition to a remington collection. $3500 or best offer.
