Description:
For your consideration, the J.P. Sauer & Son Drilling side by side shotgun chambered in 18 Gauge & 8x57mm. The Drilling is a very unique firearm, it features two 16 Gauge barrels at just shy of 26 inches. Below the barrels is a rifle barrel chambered for 8x57 JR, which is a rimmed version of the 7.92x57mm or 8mm Mauser cartridge. It is in excellent condition with a functioning flip-up sight, sling attachments and a stock made of European Walnut. Based on the serial number and proof markings, it was manufactured sometime in 1931. 16/8.57
