All original and correct type 1 Winchester M1 Carbine from Early WW2 with first pattern flip sight, 2 rivet "W" marked handgurad with square front. Type 1 narrow band with swivel . "W" marked and undated barrel. "W" marked early flat bolt. Early "W" marked operating rod. Trigger group is all early push button "SW" marked safety and blank unmarked magazine release. "W" marked early hammer sear and trigger Trigger housing marked with "W" as well. Butt stock is High wood WRA / GHD with Ordnance wheel inspection on right side. and "W" in sling slot. Sling is contemporary. The rear flip sight is not staked and is marked "S" on left side. This is a fine original and not restored Winchester M1 Carbine, Flat base WW2 magazine marked II in circle on spine. Condition, The metal is very good with light parkerized finish and some finish losses at high points. The bore is excellent. The stocks are excellent. The carbine is mechanically excellent.. C&R
