Winchester 1873 antique in 44-40 caliber! Serial number 204,016 shipped in 1886 ! 24" Octagon Barrel . Nice honest 1873 rifle with tones of original blue finish . Mostly a blue brown patina gun ! Untouched Original sharp markings. Original wood is untouched! You could see the nice even wear on where the forend and bottom of the gun leaned on a Saddle for most of its life ! Beautiful worn patina ! Metal also worn in that area by saddle wear . This gun was used but not abused. Wood is all there with saddle wear. Bore is typical a little ruff . But has strong rifling and still looks like it would hit its mark ! Mechanics are excellent. Excellent working condition. Overall a very nice 1873 rifle !
