Description:
22 inch round barrel chambered in the most common caliber 30-40 Krag. Bright shiny near excellent bore. Pinned silver blade front sight and carbine folding ladder rear with a receiver mounted Lyman peep. Most all blue remains on all metal surfaces. Receiver does show some thinning and flaking. Lever has some blue with the balance a gray/brown. Traces of case color on the hammer. Saddle ring is present. Walnut stocks are fine including the Military style top handguard wood. "30 40 KRAG .30 USG" marked on the leftside forearm groove. Right side of the buttstock shows some scratches and pressure dents. Trapdoor in the carbine buttplate. Added non-factory sling swivels. Crisp action. Very nice looking Winchester saddle ring carbine from 1905.
